Uncovering scholarships

VCU students have access to many types of scholarships. Recipients qualify based on academic record, financial need, area of study or some combination of these factors.

If you are looking for scholarship support, first visit the Office of Financial Aid. You also can gather information from the student services representatives in the school or program where you study. Each school or program will have a list of scholarships for that area.

Keep in mind that local businesses, professional and trade associations and community organizations offer scholarships, too. Check out as many sources as you can — you just might be surprised at what is available!
