Alumni houses
The VCU Alumni Association purchased and renovated the house at 924 W. Franklin St. and gifted the Richard T. Robertson Alumni House to the university. Lifetime members of the VCUAA can rent the house for an event or a meeting. For information and rates, call (804) 828-2586. To view pictures of the house, visit www.alumni.vcu.edu/alumni_house.htm.
The MCV Alumni Association moved and renovated the MCV Alumni House and built the adjoining Paul A. Gross Conference Center on the MCV Campus and gifted them to the university. The MCV Alumni House is on the Virginia Historic Landmarks Register and the Paul A. Gross Conference Center is used extensively by MCV Campus departments and MCV Hospitals for seminars, presentations and meetings.
Staff offices for both associations are located in their respective alumni houses, which serve as focal points for alumni and student activity. The alumni houses are the “front doors” to the university and manifest the role of alumni as important members of the university community.
